Those vying for music prizes at this year's Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards have been announced. In favorite group, Jonas Brothers are up against such contenders as Black Eyed Peas, Coldplay and Linkin Park.
Favorite Female Singer, meanwhile, has Beyonce Knowles, Miley Cyrus, Lady GaGa and Taylor Swift on the list. Last year, Miley successfully beat Beyonce, Alicia Keys and Rihanna in this category.
Like his wife, Jay-Z also lands a nod in the 23rd Annual Nickelodeon KCAs. He faces off the likes of Sean Kingston, Mario and Ne-Yo for Favorite Male Singer which was won by Jesse McCartney in 2009.
The last category in music field is Favorite Song. Black Eyed Peas' "I Gotta Feeling" competes against three other nominees, Lady GaGa's "Paparazzi", Miley's "Party in the U.S.A." and Taylor's "You Belong with Me".
This year, Kids' Choice Awards will be held on March 27 at 8 P.M. In addition to recognizing musicians, it also honors those in movie, television, sports, literature and video game. Its host, musical guests as well as presenters are still to be determined.
