John Travolta and Jonathan Rhys-Meyers have joined forces to promote the film by coming to the special screening, which was also attended by Hugh Jackman and his wife.
Being set in the capital city of France, "From Paris with Love" chose New York City to hold the first premiere. On Thursday, January 28, cast and crew teamed up to promote the film by gathering at the event, which took place at the Ziegfeld Theatre.
Donning an all-black costume, John Travolta was seen hitting the red carpet with the companion of his actress wife Kelly Preston. The lead actor later took pose with his co-star Jonathan Rhys-Meyers, who opted to wear a formal outfit, before entering the venue. Later, cast member Kasia Smutniak and director Pierre Morel were also photographed at the event.
Also pictured among the attendees at the special screening were "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" actor Hugh Jackman and his wife Deborra-Lee Furness. Meanwhile, other celebrity guests included Maggie Rizer, John Waters, Kathleen Turner, Laura Harring, Nikki Blonsky as well as Tovah Feldshuh.
"From Paris with Love" follows Jonathan Rhys-Meyers' James Reese, a low-ranking intelligence operative working in the office of the U.S. Ambassador in France, who is partnered with John Travolta's Charlie Wax, a high-ranking U.S. agent who's been sent to Paris to stop a terrorist attack. This action flick is scheduled to hit U.S. theaters on February 5.
