'Glee' stops '30 Rock' from taking the Best Comedy Series award for the second time in a row.
Finally, "Glee" gets to go home with a trophy at 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards. The critically-acclaimed drama series is named Best TV Series - Comedy or Musical, stamping over older shows like "30 Rock", "Entourage", and "The Office" as well as fellow newbie "Modern Family". All the "Glee" cast including Lea Michele and Cory Monteith ascend the stage to take the honor from presenters Kiefer Sutherland and Olivia Wilde.
With "30 Rock" failing to get the Best Comedy Series and Best Comedy Actress for Tina Fey, "Dexter" and "Grey Gardens" officially become the TV series and TV movie which win big. Each of them grabbed two victories. "Dexter" won through Michael C. Hall and John Lithgow while "Gardens" won Best TV Movie and Best Actress in TV Movie for Drew Barrymore.
The winners are selected by some 90 members of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. It also honors the work in movie world which has seen Pixar animation "Up" winning two categories.
