AceShowbiz - Summit Entertainment has unleashed a new international trailer for Roman Polanski-directed movie "The Ghost Writer". Though it shares many scenes from the movie, the video fails to explain what this film is really about.
A successful British ghostwriter The Ghost agrees to complete the memoirs of former British Prime Minister Adam Lang and flies to an oceanfront house on an island off the U.S. Eastern seaboard to work on the project. As he begins to uncover a dark secret linking Lang to the CIA, The Ghost starts to question whether his predecessor on the project was murdered because of the appalling truth he uncovered.
Ewan McGregor leads with Pierce Brosnan starring as former British Prime Minister Adam Lang. Kim Cattrall and Olivia Williams also join the cast to portray Amelia and Ruth Lang respectively. This thriller is scheduled to be dropped in limited U.S. theaters on February 19.
