Carlton Cuse's and Twitter campaign that objects the President's speech on the day 'Lost' is back on screen is coming to a fruitful result.

A breathe of relief can be taken by "Lost" fans as it was announced that the premiere of season 6 will not be pre-empted by President Obama's State of the Union address. The final season will kick off as scheduled on February 2 on ABC while the speech is still not scheduled.

"I don't foresee a scenario in which the millions of people that hope to finally get some conclusion in 'Lost' are preempted by the president," the White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said. He, however, did not directly indicate that it was "Lost" that caused the speech to be bumped from the primetime although he came into knowledge that "it's a big deal at ABC."

It was reported earlier this week that White House has listed February 2 instead of January 19 as the day Obama would give his first State of Union speech. Creator Carlton Cuse wrote on his Twitter Friday, January 8, "In exchange for moving his speech, Damon and I promise to answer ANY questions the President has about LOST."
