AceShowbiz - Pop singer and mother of one son Christina Aguilera was involved in minor car accident on Tuesday, December 22. The crash reportedly occurred between 3rd Street and Santa Monica Blvd. in Los Angeles.
TMZ, which broke the news, claimed Christina was in the passenger seat of a white Range Rover driven by her assistant when the vehicle rear-ended a silver Range Rover driven by a woman as she tried to make a left turn near Santa Monica Blvd. in West Hollywood. No one involved in the accident complained of injuries though and police were not called to the scene.
As for Christina, she was said immediately leaving the scene with the companion of her bodyguard. The driver of her SUV, meanwhile, stayed behind awaiting a tow truck.
Christina Aguilera embraced her worldwide fame with her single "Genie in a Bottle" back in the late 90s. She has since embarked on acting career too and will be seen starring in drama-musical "Burlesque", which will hit the U.S. theaters November 24 next year.
