Reports run rampant all over the web that Elin Nordegren is planning to divorce her golf star husband Tiger Woods. ABC News, NBC News and People magazine are some of the news media that run the same story, claiming divorce is on the card for the pair who has had two children together after five years of a marriage.
Per ABC News, a source claims "Divorce is 100 percent on. She's not rushing to divorce, however. She's going to take her sweet time. She wants all the dirty laundry to be out on the table before she signs anything." Meanwhile, People reports Nordegren has met lawyers to renegotiate her prenuptial agreement with Woods.
"She plans to leave Tiger," one source says. Another source echoes, "She has made up her mind. There's nothing to think about: he's never going to change." Adding fuel to the divorce reports, Nordegren is said to have taken her children with Woods; Sam Alexis and Charlie Axel, to her native Sweden for Christmas without the athlete in tow.
"Elin is going to Sweden soon," so says a source. "Two stewardesses and one pilot are in Sweden with the plane now getting it ready to come pick them up." And though the source says Nordegren doesn't plan a permanent move back to her homeland, still it is considered to signal her divorce plans.
In line with ABC and People, NBC News reports Nordegren will "be making this split very open and official right after Christmas." A source tells the news media, "Elin is not going to be one of these 'stand by her man' women. This is beyond embarrassing, and she has a daughter and son she has to think about, who will know about this one day. Forgiveness isn't exactly around the corner."
Neither Nordegren nor Woods has commented on the mounting divorce reports though. Their representatives, as of the press time, also haven't addressed the issue.
