Kid Cudi has premiered a music video in support of his single "Pursuit of Happiness". In the newly-debuted video, he is seen partying with a bunch of people. Drake is shown making cameo even though he is not featured on the song.

"Pursuit of Happiness" is one of the singles from Kid Cudi's debut album "Man on the Moon: The End of Day". The track contains additional verses from MGMT and Ratatat and made its U.S. debut on "Late Show with David Letterman".

A newbie in the game, Kid Cudi gets three nominations at 2010 Grammy Awards. His song "Day 'N' Nite" is vying for Best Rap Song and places him among the contenders for Best Rap Solo Performance. He receives another nod for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group, thanks to his duet with Kanye West and Common on single "Make Her Say".

I disagree, JDubz. Look at the shot of the shot glass, the lighting, or the spraying champagne bottles. I think it's as close to an infringement on artistic property as one could possibly get.

Total ripoff of Hey Champ's Cold Dust Girl video they did with Lupe last year...and they just opened for Cudi. Its the SAME VIDEO. Pretty sad stuff, Kid...real weak.

The style is obviously close, but the shots of Cudi show him in full speed while everything around him is in really slow speed. I can definitely see what you mean, but I see the Hey Champ video as an influence for the Kid Cudi video (if anything) rather than stealing and they still took a different approach to it. The ending to the Kid Cudi video is a lot more emotional and makes the story being told a lot more dynamic than the Hey Champ video where they were just ramping speeds with girls making out for a cool effect.
