The script of the vampire film, which will reunite the actor and director Tim Burton, has been worked on although the two are still in post-production of 'Alice in Wonderland'.

AceShowbiz - It seems that "Dark Shadows" is going to be Johnny Depp and director Tim Burton's next project after they wrap "Alice in Wonderland". Being met on Friday, December 4, during when he was promoting "The Young Victoria", producer Graham King has given an update on the possible shooting schedule of the horror movie.

"We're actually going to shoot that film next September/October with Tim Burton and Johnny," Graham stated. The 47-year-old filmmaker added that they have been working on the script of the vampire movie although Tim and Johnny are still in post-production of the 3-D adventure film. "We've been working on the script a lot, even though he's working on 'Alice'," he added. "We've been given a script. John August wrote the first screenplay. We're making some changes, but the film's going to be in production, as I say, September or October of next year."

Based on popular TV series of the same title, "Dark Shadows" is going to be a gothic-horror tale which centers on the life of vampire Barnabas Collins and his run-ins with various monsters, witches, werewolves and ghosts. Beside serving as producer alongside Graham King and David Kennedy, Johnny Depp is set to star as Barnabas.
