Kate Hudson Says It's Unfair to Talk About Her Feelings for Alex Rodriguez

It's no longer a secret that Kate Hudson and Alex Rodriguez are dating, but the actress refuses to talk publicly about her feelings for him, claiming it would be unfair if she does so. In an interview with Harper's Bazaar, the 30-year-old beauty explains, "I have a child, and there are people involved, and it's unfair to talk about somebody else, especially when you're not in that place yet to be discussing those things."

Relating the topic to media reports that often cover false stories about her and Alex, Kate complains of one headline that claimed she and the athlete were photographed making out. "I quickly kissed the cheek. And I remember one of the headlines the next day said, 'Makeout Session.' What is wrong with people?" she says.

Despite all, Kate confesses she is at the best phase of her life, personally and professionally. "And no matter how many times my heart breaks, I'll never be any different," she claims, adding "I'd rather hang out with the person who's done everything than who's done nothing. It would suck to die and not have experienced my life, really."

Above all, she is thankful for her girlfriends, about whom she gushes, "I don't know what I'd do without my girlfriends. Let's be honest, I don't care how much you're in love with any man, you need to have your girlfriends to talk to. Without them, we're alone. I don't want to talk to a man about some of the things I feel."

Kate's interview with Harper's Bazaar is featured on its January 2010 issue. In it, she also discusses about her young son, Ryder Russell Robinson, whose father is her former husband Chris Robinson of band The Black Crowes.
