"The Grammy Nominations Concert Live!! - Countdown to Music's Biggest Night" on December 2 did not only announce those vying for the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards but also saw live performances from Nick Jonas and his new band, The Administration. They showcased their debut single "Who I Am" live for the very first time at the gig.
Introducing their performances were Nick's brothers/bandmates, Kevin Jonas and Joe Jonas, from the Jonas Brothers. "Just one year ago, we were here when we got amazing news of our first ever Grammy nomination," Joe said. Kevin then added, "So this year, Jonas glad to be back at the Grammy nomination to introduce a new project from our brother Nick. ... We're proud to introduce to you, Nick Jonas and The Administration."
Nick will play another new song titled "Rose Garden" on Ryan Seacrest's radio show on December 3. The youngest member of the Jonas band will also have interview segment with the "American Idol" host.
Prior to Nick's stage act, Black Eyed Peas opened the concert with "I Gotta Feeling". During the rehearsal for the show, will.i.am told CBS, "Look forward to us going out there, having a good time, keeping our fingers, toes, eyes crossed that we get nominated." This band, indeed, are listed in six categories, one of which is Album of the Year, for the next year's gala awards.
There were also Sugarland and Maxwell. The former sang their track called "Coming Home", and the latter delivered a rendition of Michael Jackson's song "The Lady of My Life".

This video wil NEVER get old!! Im so proud of Nick J!! love this song!!
nick was amazing and he looked soo happy:)))i am extremely happy for him!!!
I'd buy his album. He's pretty easy on the eyes too, oh wait...he's 17. Maybe he should grub himself up a bit so people will just listen to his music and not be distracted by his handsome face.
Love his new song Rose Garden even more than Who I Am. But they are both solid hits. Just starting to hear Who I Am on the radio in the last few days and it seems to be getting good response.
Great job. I also caught his performance of Rose Garden on Ryan Seacrest's show. That song will make you a believer!
i luv this song he has proved that he has talent
I never been a jonas brother fan but nick was really good this was the first time i saw and heard this song he was ACE!!!!!!!
it annoys me that people assume that he has no talent because he is a jonas brother, but i think he proved he has an incredinble amount of talent on the grammy's and he is only 17. he is starting to get a whole new generation of fans because people are realizing that he has serious talent!!!!!!!!! i luv u ick
nick jonas has got some serious talent and he should win a grammy he can play loads of instruments and he is the talent of the jonas brothers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Never really paid too much attention to the Jonas Brothers because I assumed they were a teen band. But I was impressed by Nick Jonas' performance on the Grammy show. I was in my car the next day and heard him on Ryan Seacrest and he played another song he wrote off his new album...Rose Garden. It was truly one of the best songs I've heard in a long time. I will definately be purchasing the album when it comes out. I guess I shouldn't pre-judge. I can honestly say I like the Jonas Brothers now...well at least one of them. Maybe I'll have to listen to a Jonas Brothers album and see if there are any other strokes of genius.
I tuned into the Grammy Nomination show and was truly impressed by Nick Jonas. He is extremely accomplished for a 17 year old musician. I assumed the music had been written by his band mates. Boy was I wrong. He wrote ALL the songs on his new album. Wow! He impressed this 40 year old enough that I purchased his song off itunes the next day. I played it for a few friends and they loved it too.
i love the jonas brothers i went to see them on the 22.11.2009 best day of my life I want nick and the administration to come the UK (manchester or liverpool) lol so good
I love Nick Jonas but I honestly think that he should stick with the Jonas Brothers. There was no magic to that song.He looked lost without his brothers. When the Jonas Brothers preform there is a magic that makes you want to keep watching!
i am not a joans brothers fan but he did really good...it will take time before he is respected by older audiences but he will go far.
OMJ i luurrvveed nick i keep watching it again and again and im in school and i am suppose to be doin coursework lool i want him to come to the uk on tour i saw them in november and they were AH-MAZING XXX
wow thank god people finally realize he has talent. people just automatically assume the jonas brothers are some gay boy band from disney but dont be so quick to judge. nick proves it
It annoys me to see most of the comments on here already were obviously typed by little girls... Which, can't believe I'm saying this, but a kid with that talent doesn't deserve THOSE fans. I can see him maturing a lot more with his music and winning the respect he deserves. He just needs to shake off these annoying girls.
well done nick so proud of you also i love how joe and kevin were cheering for him there is so much love in that family
he looked so nervous at the end! but that was brilliant, totally not what i expected! well done nick.
nick was amazin n jonas brothers got millions of fans.... n they rox
I agree with you John! Nick J has talent and I can also see him having older fans and not these tweens anymore. Nick J is growing up and he deserves to be more mature in his songs and the JB too!
You can't deny that Nick Jonas has got major talent. It's sad that he and his brothers just get flamed again and again. So look at this with unbiased eyes, whether you're a fan or a hater. He did a great job. And compared to Fergie, he can actually sing LIVE. That's a trait that all musicians should have. Autotune is just ridiculous.
i really liked it....i mean i never thought of him breakin off on his own but he is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO pulling it off! GO NICK!!!!!!!!!!!
i love nick jonas!!!!<3 he's an amazing singer and i cant wait until his new album! :)
nick j is amazing!!!!!!! this is sooooo cool!!!!! i cant stop listen to it!!! and the JONAS BROTHERS ARE THE MOST AWESOME I'VE EVER SEEN!!!!!JOANS BROTHERS FOR LIFE!
Those pics in the back were SUPER sexy! :)
nick jonas was amazin
he's 17 martin
Wow, that Nick Jonas kid pretty much blew me away. I know people are going to trash him because he is a Jonas Brother and I guess it's the cool thing to do nowadays, hating on the Jonas Brothers I mean, but come on...you can't deny he's got some talent. He's only what--16? I was impressed. And this is coming from a 28 yr old man who can care less about that Disney crap.
I really like this song :) I love the jonas brothers, but when they finish, which they will eventually do. He will be a superstar :) x
