YouTube singing sensation Justin Bieber has become the only artist in Billboard history who has four singles from a debut album charting in the Top 40 of Hot 100 before the album's release.

AceShowbiz - 15-year-old Justin Bieber has risen to stardom even before he released his debut album. His performances on a local singing competition, during which he "wasn't taking it too seriously" but managed to finish at the second place, garnered millions of views on YouTube.
He was flown from Ontario, Canada to Atlanta, Georgia to work on a record deal with a major label. A bidding war between Usher and Justin Timberlake took place and was won by Usher who then signed him to Island Records in October 2008. Soon afterwards, his first major release "My World" was crafted with Christopher "Tricky" Stewart and The-Dream lending their helping hands. Usher also made contribution to the project.
Justin dropped the effort across United States on November 17 and scored the biggest release of the year for a new artist in the country so far as the album debuted at No. 6 on Billboard Hot 200 with 137,000 copies. Moreover, the record was preceded with four hit singles "One Time", "One Less Lonely Girl", "Love Me" and "Favorite Girl", all of which cracked Top 15 of Canadian Singles chart and reached Top 40 of Billboard Hot 100.
Those achievements made him the only artist in Billboard history who has four singles from a debut album charting in the Top 40 of Hot 100 before the album's release. From an ordinary boy who once won the second spot on a school talent show, he has become one of those performers who can draw thousands of people to watch his show. And, he achieved it in less than two years.
Recently, Justin supported Taylor Swift on two of her U.K. stops for "Fearless" tour. In the first gig, he accidentally fractured his foot but managed to finish the song and continued performing with Taylor the next day after getting medical treatment in hospital.
