The carpet may not be red but the guests who walked on them include A-list celebrities such as Penelope Cruz, Daniel Day-Lewis, and Billy Crudup.
Blake Lively ditched gowns to show some cleavage inside a white blazer for the red carpet event of her latest movie "The Private Lives of Pippa Lee". The actress who plays the teen version of Pippa Lee in the movie also preferred to show off her legs with a black short and white heels.
Lively came to the event held at New York's AMC Loews 19th St. Theatre accompanied by her actor boyfriend, Penn Badgley. She took a time to pose with her co-stars Julianne Moore, Robin Wright Penn, Keanu Reeves and Zoe Kazan as well as author/scriptwriter/director, Rebecca Miller.
Guest stars coming to the screening were Lively's "Gossip Girl" co-star Chace Crawford, "Californication" star Madeleine Martin, the cast of the upcoming musical "Nine", Marion Cotillard, Daniel Day-Lewis and Penelope Cruz, and many more.
"Pippa Lee" will be released in limited U.S. theaters on Thanksgiving weekend, November 27. It follows the titular character who is the devoted wife of an accomplished publisher thirty years her senior, the proud mother of two grown children, and a trusted friend and confidant to all who cross her path.
But as Pippa dutifully follows her husband to a new life in a staid Connecticut retirement community, her idyllic world and the persona she has built over the course of her marriage will be put to the ultimate test.
