Publicly confirming his sexual orientation earlier this year, says he pays no attention to the negative comments addressed to him. "I tried not to pay attention to the negative reaction because that's a waste of my energy," he is quoted as telling the Philippine Daily Inquirer.

"There were a couple of people who felt turned off by that," he goes on stating. "Quite frankly, if my sexuality is enough to deter you from the art that I'm creating, then you probably shouldn't be my fan anyway, because I'm looking to create fun music that's entertaining and sometimes makes you want to dance."

"Some of the album tracks are emotional and very vulnerable. If you can't get past that, then you're probably not going to enjoy the music anyway, so to each his own," he gushes about his debut album "" which will be made available for purchase in U.S. on November 23.

Adam Lambert confirmed in the June 2009 issue of Rolling Stone the long-circulating rumors that he is gay. After that he became more open with his relationship with Drake LaBry, who is an interior designer. They, however, broke up earlier this month.

Adam, YOU ARE THE BEST!!!! I don´t understand people who are interested in your sexual life......that is yours and only yours to care about! I am a little, old, Swedish lady (soon 62 years) and I think YOU ARE THE BEST!!!

Very well said, Adam! It's stupid to judge someone for their sexuality! If these 'fans' who are ranting negatively about being gay or whatever can't get past it and appreciate your songs, then they're not fans at all!

Right, Adam should strictly focus on his music and be completely assured that his true fans are behind him 100%. The extreme prejudice is revealing of the national education level.

I agree with Adam, he should not waste his energy and battling regarding his sexuality. To be honest with Adam, only here in AMERICA that people make a big deal about the sexuality. In other countries they don't dig in to your private life. However, Adam's fans and the rest of the world should put a REST to this matter, this discussion is a long over due with a big PERIOD at the end. It's the music matters not the orientation of the person with Super Talented like Adam.
