Preview of 'Supernatural' 5.09: Fan Convention

In the episode called 'The Real Ghostbusters', Sam and Dean will meet people adoring them and dressing like them.

Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles are attending a "Supernatural" convention, on their show. Super fan Becky (guest star Emily Perkins) uses Chuck's (guest star Chuck Benedict) phone to trick Sam and Dean into attending a Supernatural fan convention, complete with fans dressed up as Sam and Dean.

One of the activities is a live action role playing game, but things quickly turn sour after a real ghost appears on the scene. Based on the casting call, there would be two young men named Demian and Barnes who are friends and have heroic aspirations despite their exterior appearance.

"The Real Ghostbusters" is an episode written by Eric Kripke and it will air on Thursday, November 12.

This would be one of those light episodes of "Supernatural" before the show goes on with a serious episode called "Abandon All Hope" on November 19. In that pivotal episode, Sam, Dean and Castiel track down the Colt and head off to find Lucifer to send him back to Hell. Jim Beaver said that the particular episode is "powerful and the fans will be left reeling."

I can only hope for this NOSHEEP but I have no great expectations from yet another "light" episode.No-one's forcing you to watch so get up and turn the channel if you're unhappy. I'm sure "Fringe" would be happy to have you. At any rate, IMO there needs to be more consistant movement in the important plot-lines, not another episode wasted on meta and how ridiculous the fanbase is. I say get on with this apocalypse and forget the filler.

All I've seen this season is Sam getting whitewashed and being constantly reminded how smart Sam is, like he is the second coming of Einstein. Dean's story has gone absolutely nowhere and aside from episode The End and the end of last episode, Changing Channels, he's been used as the comic relief sidekick so I don't know what you are complaining about. This season has been all Sam, Sam, Sam, Sam. Still not satisfied though are you?

So don't watch the show "nosleep". Do you have a gun to your head? Why do some people insist on writting things like this? No one really cares if you have a beef with the show. Just watch something else on Thursday night. Problem solved. The rest of us will be enjoying a great show with great writers, actors, and fans.

again????? let me guess how the convention episode will be. wincest is wrong, sam/jared is an asshole, you must love castiel, you must read/write castiel/dean or kripke is gonna kill you, sam's fans are stupid, kripke is god and the deangirls/castielgirls are the best. Same old crap. I hope after this show kripke will not be allowed to work ever again.
