Denying rumors that she is dating Joe, Demi blames the gossip sites which have made up the story.

AceShowbiz - The relationship that Demi Lovato has with Joe Jonas is purely platonic, so she insists in her Twitter posts. "There's been a lot of rumors lately that I'm dating one of my best friends Joe. I can promise my entire career that I am not," confirms the Disney star.
Demi, furthermore, stresses that she and the middle of the Jonas Brothers have never dated despite rumors to the contrary. "We've NEVER dated. He's incredible, but we don't have feelings for eachother in that way. I love you guys, and I wouldn't lie about that," tweets the actress-singer.
"It's unfortunate that some people out there are so desperate for attention that they have to make up gossip to keep their site alive. But that's how this whole city works I guess. It just makes me sad that people are that mean in this world," she concludes.
This is the first time that Demi Lovato breaks her silence on the long persistent rumors of her dating Joe Jonas. She was previously romantically linked to her best friend Miley Cyrus' brother Trace Cyrus. Meanwhile, there is no comment just yet from Joe Jonas regarding the romance rumors.
