Words on the street are, Nicole Kidman will be sharing screen with "The Twilight Saga's New Moon" star Robert Pattinson in "Bel Ami", but the story apparently turned out to be not a 100% true. Gossip Cop was the first to set straight the swirling speculation, noting that the actress' representative has come out with a denial.
The site first explained that the Hugh Jackman's co-star in "Australia" actually did consider the movie as a future project, but the timing of the movie just didn't work out for her. It then sealed its report with what her rep has to say on the matter, writing that the rep claimed the movie is "categorically not happening" for Kidman.
Although Kidman's involvement on "Bel Ami" was ruled out, Pattinson's was not. The Edward Cullen of the "Twilight Saga" series is still attached to star as journalist Georges Duroy. Reports of him taking on the character he himself described as "totally amoral" actually came in long before this rumor built up, when he attended the 62nd Cannes Film Festival to promote "Remember Me".
"Bel Ami" is a morality tale centered on Georges Duroy, a man who rises to the top by manipulating a series of powerful and wealthy mistresses. Uberto Pasolini will serve as the producer, while Declan Donnellan is in the director seat. Rachel Bennette reportedly provided the script. Production is said to take place in London and Budapest starting from February 2010.

Though Robert indicates he has hygiene issues, I sense he misguides us to believe this for one reason or another. Robert has been on so may interviews, photo advertisements, and movies that there is no way to NOT shower. Also, he never looks any dirty and what advertisement would allow him to look bad. He may appear tired and not have time to shower due to plane trips across country and contant moving around, he may just not have time on some days...We all need to remember whats on the inside is what really matters. It wonderful that he and his co-stars are getting this opportunity that many would love to have. And for you Mr/MS. SAY WHAT you don't get it the fact that even if hes not attractive to you or that he looks gross to you...You don't matter, I think he apears gracious and charming so looks don't matter, but since he has so many wonderful qualities that makes him attractive to sooo many.
He is so nasty-looking, and has admitted that his hygiene is not the best. Deal-breaker right there. I hate his crooked nose, pale, pasty skin and thin lips. He's an ugly man.
Personally for me Robert's unique and humorus personality is very appealing, which gives him an additonal edge over other male actors. He seems like a very crismatic individual who really expects a lot from himself and is very passionate about his acting and music...which is very admirable. I don't think it really matters what any of us really think he enjoys what he does and gives more than 100% to his characters. I'd like to ask why anyone would want to find flause in him, it's not like hes done anything wrong or to those who bash his acting. I have seen many movies which very successful actors who didn't so well a time or two. Just be happy that this movie has allowed him and his co-star to be success and open new doors...Also, he's a very good actor, he has the ability to grab your attention and keep you wondering what his next role will be and how his demeaner will change. In his movies he has a more serious side and in interview and such he appears very humors and humbling. Good for Robert, I am very happy for you...keep the good work up!
