'Prince of Persia' Unveils More Action in International Trailer

AceShowbiz - Just hours after Walt Disney Pictures released the first official trailer for "Prince of Persia: Sands of Time", a brand new international trailer for the adventure fantasy has made its way out. This sneak peek offers a different edit from the domestic version and features a number of new footage with more action sequences.

In the mystical lands of Persia, a rogue prince by the name of Dastan finds himself reluctantly joining forces with a mysterious princess named Tamina as the fate of the world is in grave danger. Together, they race against dark forces to safeguard an ancient dagger capable of releasing the Sands of Time, a gift from the gods that can reverse time and allow its possessor to rule the world.

Directed by "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" helmer Mike Newell, "Prince of Persia: Sands of Time" was filmed in Morocco and London. Jake Gyllenhaal stars as Dastan, Gemma Arterton as Tamina, Ben Kingsley as Nizam, and Alfred Molina as Sheik Amar. The mouse house eyes to release this movie in cinemas across the U.S. on May 28, 2010.
