Just hours after director David Slade announced the completion of "The Twilight Saga's Eclipse" filming, he handed out a first cast photo from the third "Twilight Saga" movie. The 40-year-old filmmaker made use of his Twitter account to let out first real look at Xavier Samuel's character Riley Biers.
Along with the picture, the "Hard Candy" helmer wrote, "In celebration of wrap first Eclipse cast photo Xavier Samuels between set ups as Riley Biers." In "Eclipse", Riley is described as a good-looking college student. He is turned into a vampire by Victoria and helps the vengeful vampire to lead her army of newborn vampires.
Prior to the posting of this photo, Slade has revealed also through his Twitter account that the filming of the follow-up to "The Twilight Saga's New Moon" has finally been wrapped. "Twilight Eclipse officially wrapped shooting, at 4.30 am October 29th," he tweeted. "Physically and emotionally exhausted."
"The Twilight Saga's Eclipse" is an adaptation of the third novel from Stephenie Meyer's "Twilight" series. The story finds Bella Swan once again being surrounded by danger. Knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob.
Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart return as Edward and Bella. Bryce Dallas Howard takes over Victoria from Rachelle Lefevre, Catalina Sandino Moreno stars as Maria and Jack Huston is picked up to portray Rosalie's former fiance, Royce King II. "Eclipse" is scheduled for a U.S. release on June 30, 2010.
