AceShowbiz - Counting down to the theatrical release of "This Is It", Sony Pictures has unleashed another brand new clip from the Michael Jackson's documentary through Yahoo! Movies. Like many which were released before, this snippet sees the late King of Pop rehearsing for a dance number. This time, he along with a number of backing dancers performs "Smooth Criminal".
Beside bringing forth this clip, Sony has also announced that a worldwide premiere for "This Is It" will take place at Nokia Theatre in downtown Los Angeles on Tuesday, October 27. In a press release, the studio revealed that fans will be offered a chance to join in during the live webcast of the event starting at 4:30 P.M. PDT.
The live webcast will be streamed in the U.S. and around the world. The U.S. webcast will be hosted by radio personalities Big Boy and Luscious Liz, while five international hosts will webcast to their regions. The webcast can be seen using the player below via Ustream.tv.
"This Is It" offers a behind-the-scenes footage of Michael preparing for a series of the O2 London shows he was rehearsing before he passed away on June 25. It will compile more than 100 hours of video footage concert promoter AEG Live shot during April, May and June 2009. This movie will be released in theaters worldwide for a limited two-week engagement, starting on October 28.
