More 'Avatar' Photos Come Out
Movie

Neytiri giving Jake's avatar an archery lesson and Grace's avatar standing in front of a group of Na'Vi creatures are among the new images from James Cameron's much-anticipated 3-D sci-fi.

AceShowbiz - More and more fresh photos of "Avatar" have been making their rounds. After a number of high resolution pictures of the sci-fi movie came up earlier, Market Saw brought forth three other new images. Two, which center on Neytiri and Jake's avatar, are high quality pictures, while the other one presents a scan of Grace's avatar from a French magazine.

These three fresh photos add on the ones coming out hours earlier. The previously-released pics from the movie first conceived by director/producer/writer James Cameron 14 years ago capture Neytiri in action and Jake's avatar among the human. A shot of Jake observing what seems to be his avatar's tank and the aerial shot of Pandora are also included.

"Avatar" revolves around Jake Sully, a former Marine confined to a wheelchair. Although bitter and disillusioned, he's still a warrior at heart and all he ever wanted is something worth fighting for. Recruited to join an expedition to the moon Pandora, he finds himself walking again in a human-Na'vi hybrid known as avatar.

No longer bound to his wheelchair, he is sent to interact with and infiltrate the Na'vi with the hope of enlisting their help in mining the ore. During this mission, he meets beautiful Na'vi female, Neytiri. As his respect for the Na'vi grows, his relationship with Neytiri deepens, forcing him to choose sides in an epic battle that will decide the fate of an entire world.

Undergoing four years of actual production work, the movie stars Sam Worthington as Jake Sully, Zoe Saldana as Neytiri, Sigourney Weaver as botanist Dr. Grace Augustine, Stephen Lang as Marine Corps Colonel Quaritch, Michelle Rodriguez as retired Marine pilot Trudy Chacon, and many others. It is set to hit the U.S. theaters on December 18.

Its newest trailer is scheduled to play in theaters across the country this Friday, October 23. It is said to clock in at roughly around 3 minutes and 30 seconds. Although getting some big screen time, the promotional video won't be made available online until next Thursday, October 29.
