Joel Madden and Nicole Richie haven't got married yet. Putting the brake on the false flying reports that the two have secretly tied the knot is Joel who posted a denial on his band Good Charlotte's official site. "I keep getting emails from old friends and family asking about a wedding. NO we didn't get married," he confirmed on Wednesday, October 21.
In the same tone with Joel, Nicole tells People in an interview for its latest issue that they would surely make their union official, but not in the time being for they are still focusing on raising up their children, Harlow Winter Kate Madden and Sparrow James Midnight Madden. "One day I would love to get married," she says. "It's not something we're talking about now. If my kids ask me to get married, I'd get married."
A story claiming Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have wed in secret was first reported by Radar Online last week. The site claimed the pair already obtained a marriage license and got married in a top secret ceremony on October 14.
Dealing with false wedding reports, in fact, isn't something new for Joel and Nicole. Having been together for more than two years, they are often forced to deny rumors regarding their personal lives.
