Jason Derulo will appear as Lady GaGa's supporting act on selected dates of 'The Monster Ball' tour which will begin on November 27.
New artist Jason Derulo has been tapped to support Lady GaGa on her upcoming Monster Ball tour. Unlike Kid Cudi who will accompany the dance queen on her every Monster concerts, Jason will take the gig's stage only on selected dates which are yet to be disclosed.
"I am a big GaGa fan," Jason told MTV. "I was talking about being on that tour for a pretty long time and it's amazing that it actually just fell in my lap like that. I can't wait ... I'm super excited. I'm amped!"
Jason Derulo and Lady GaGa actually have something in common. Both of them started their career in music industry as a songwriter for other artists before then being signed to major labels and releasing their own records. Jason has a new single called "Whatcha Say", which peaked at No. 4 on Billboard Hot 100, and is preparing to release his eponymous debut album.
As for Lady GaGa, this singer has dropped her first album "The Fame" in 2008 which became a worldwide hit. She is now gearing to re-release the album under the title "The Fame: Monster" on November 23 and will kick off the tour on November 27.
