Miley Cyrus has long been reported to be making a cameo in "Sex and the City 2", and a number of newly-found pictures from the set have served as proofs to the circulating story. The set photos coming from Splash News present the "Hannah Montana" leading actress together with one of the movie's stars, Kim Cattrall.
On Friday, October 16, the 16-year-old actress/singer filmed her cameo part at the Ziegfeld Theatre in New York City. She was seen in a red carpet scene with the older actress, wearing matching metallic dresses and knee-length boots. The only difference spotted from the two's outfits is the neck accessory they were donning.
Previously, the star of the upcoming "The Last Song" has talked about being a fan of the original HBO's dramedy series. "One reason why I love the show so much is because of the fashion," she told Access Hollywood. "I love the fashion in it and I love the stories of the girls, not of anything else, but of the girls coming together and having lunch and just gossiping and talking."
The principal photography of "Sex and the City 2" has been kicked off in New York City. All of the four leading ladies, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kim Cattrall and Kristin Davis, have been spotted around the Big Apple to shoot their part. Michael Patrick King returns as writer, director and producer for the sequel that is set to open wide in theaters across the U.S. May 28, 2010.
