Highly-anticipated song "Time for Miracles" from Adam Lambert which is chosen as the soundtrack for upcoming movie "2012 (2009)" has been clipped and its snippet has hit the web. While the track is played, scenes from the John Cusack-starring film are shown.
Beside offering "Time for Miracles" snippet and the movie's scenes, the video also features commentary from the runner-up of "American Idol" season 8. "We want it to match how epic the film is. We want the song to really reach out and grab people by the heart. So, it's definitely the focus [the song]," he said.
There is no word on when the song will arrive in full. But, a representative for Adam's label confirms the track will not serve as the lead single from his upcoming studio album which is due for November 24 U.S. release. A music video for the song has been shot. The movie itself will arrive in theaters across the country on November 11.

"Time for Miracles" will be put out for purchase on Amazon on October 16.

THIS IS IT .. when it opens on Oct. 28th in the theaters ... so ADAM'S video will premiere on the big screen. Also he will be performing his single from his album on the AMA Awards show on Nov. 22nd ... I think the ADAM STORM is almost here ... buckle up folks .. here we go!!!

It would be nice for the producers to put this song at the beginning of the movie instead of putting the song at the end. Seems the impact would be stronger that way.
Wow. Gives me chills. This reminds me of when I first listened to the soundtrack to Titanic "My heart will go on" sung with a full string orchestra by Celine Dion and her haunting voice. Adam has that same epic quality to his voice that gets me thinking about the gravity of what the movie's message is.

The best we can hope for at the Oscar's is that Adam's performance of this song propels it to an Oscar Nomination...AND that he will perform the song on the show. Unfortunately, as unfair as it may seem the Artist that performs the song does not get an Oscar themselves. I was a bit worried that all the hype would be greater than the song itself, but I should have known better ~ When has Adam disappointed? He has meticulous taste, and I don't think there's a word worthy of describing that voice of his.
What I love about Adam is that he does not use voice enhancements..So many artist have to use voice enhancements to reach the pitch etc. Adam does not. The song is sung in such a range that is so effortless for Adam. Also, even if you have tremendous range, you have to deliver the song in your own style and not someone else's and Adam is most definately in his own style.
I am so proud of Adam and this amazing song he is about to release. He so relates to the most common of people and that will be the key to his sucess as an entertainer. He will alway compete against himself and try to make himself better. When he sings it come from his heart and soul..he is a beacon of light for so many; his work will touch the world; for that I have no doubt.

I went to one of the concerts and when Adam came out, the crowd went crazy. It is a good thing to have American Idol for the talented to be noticed. Paula Abdul was so right when she told Adam she did not know why he was not already signed. American Idol is proud of Adam because they discovered him. Kris Allen won and should be respected for winning. At this point, it it depends on what these boys bring to the table.

After taking over two hours to read through hundreds of thread posts on various sites, I would estimate a positive response of over 90% for this song and we've only heard seconds of it. OMG!!! OMG!!! OMG!!! Even seeing the title of this article when I googled Adam this morning made me delirious and squealy like a fan girl. But when I hit play, I freaked out a bit. Until I heard Adam actually start to sing I thought it sounded like a more epic version of the middle of "Want"! Did it not sound like that to anybody else? AI wont change the voting systems on Season 9 right away, because if they do now it just means ONE THING AND AND ONE THING ONLY that they admitted that something is WRONG with the voting on season 8 that the winner is not the real winner and that the winnter took home the crown because their voting system's suck.

Calling Adam Lambert the runner up is not a diss to Adam because by every metric it is clear he has a much larger fanbase and phenomenal musical skills. It just points out that the voting on system on American Idol is a joke and that fans should not take it seriously. Doubt if AI will change it in Season 9 since controversy brings ratings but it is really irrelevant to Adam Lambert, who unlike most reality show contestants, has already been accepted and sought out by TPTB in the music industry. Kris Allen wins the reality show title and he will have a career commensurate with that and with his own skill level. It's all good.

I've watched this 500 times since last night. I woke up with it playing in my head this morning. So happy, crying, proud of Adam! I think the runner-up thing is cool. I am grateful to American Idol for giving "undiscovered" talent a platform to be recognized. However, I believe it is time to let the phrase "Adam Lambert runner-up of American Idol" be retired and simply refer to him by his name. There is no need to compare him to anyone. There is no need to worry about him being first...or last. Just let us enjoy his music without comparing him to anyone else. Those spurious comparisons only do him and other artists a disservice. Everyone knows who Adam is, you do not have to mention Idol. Adam will soon be an international star. Every time I hear "runner up" i get mad. I saw the concert in Long Island and Adam was the best. To be fair if you call Adam the runner up, call Kris the boring winner. I could not watch Kris's set and went outside to get Adam's autograph.
