A source claims to have witnessed the twosome acting romantic during an outing.

AceShowbiz - Hollywood's latest hookup is Topher Grace and Katie Cassidy. The film stars have ignited dating rumor after they are reported enjoying numerous dinner dates following their first meeting at a friend's Hollywood party in August.
A source tells National Enquirer to have witnessed the apparent lovers getting cozy during an outing. "They could not keep their hands off each other. They sat side by side and were inseparable. Topher kept kissing Katie and rubbing her shoulders. He looked in love," claims the source.
Neither Topher nor Katie has addressed the dating report though.
Romance aside, Topher Grace is best known for playing the role of Eric Forman in Fox's sitcom "That '70s Show". He will next star in comedy romance movie "Valentine's Day". As for Katie Cassidy, she is widely recognized as the daughter of pop idol David Cassidy. Professionally, she is best known for her role as Trish Wellington in "Harper's Island" and will star in next year's flick, "A Nightmare on Elm Street".
