Adam Lambert and Paula Abdul will be joined by Snoop Dogg when announcing nominations list for this year's American Music Awards.

AceShowbiz - Adam Lambert will reunite with Paula Abdul as they have been billed as announcers for this year's nominees of American Music Awards, ABC confirms on a press release. Along with Snoop Dogg, the alum and former judge of "American Idol" will reveal those vying for the awards Tuesday, October 13 at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

Nominations for the 2009 American Music Awards are presented in eight categories. They are Pop/Rock, Country, Soul/Rhythm & Blues, Rap/Hip Hop, Latin Music, Alternative Music, Contemporary Inspirational and Adult Contemporary categories.

AMAs will take place on November 22 at Los Angeles' Nokia Theater this year. The ceremony will be telecast live as a three-hour primetime special on the ABC Television Network. Two days after the event is held, Adam Lambert will release his studio album across United States.
