The 20-year-old actress has denied reports of her dating the actor, insisting they have known each other for so long and are just friends.

AceShowbiz - Hayden Panettiere has laughed off reports of her dating actor Kevin Connolly. Speaking exclusively to Just Jared at the Neutrogena Fresh Faces Event in Los Angeles on Saturday, September 26, the 20-year-old star insisted there is nothing romantic between her and Kevin.
"I've known Kevin for so long," the Claire Bennet of TV series "Heroes" told Just Jared. "You can't have friends with the opposite sex. It's so funny. We're just friends."
Rumors sparked last week that Hayden Panettiere and Kevin Connolly were dating after they were seen spending a lot of time together at the HBO post-Emmy party on Sunday night, September 20. They reportedly were seen holding hands throughout the star-studded affair.
"They were there to hang out together and stayed for hours until well after midnight. Kevin only left Hayden's side towards the end of the night when he wanted to chat with someone at another table," a source in the know testified.
Hayden Panettiere has been romantically linked to a number of men after she split from actor boyfriend Milo Ventimiglia in February. Steve Jones, a Welsh television presenter, actor and model, and socialite Harry Morton, the ex-boyfriend of actress-singer Lindsay Lohan, were some of the guys she was rumored dating.
