After days of chatter and speculation, Khloe Kardashian has finally made the wedding talks official. The bride-to-be confirmed in a post on her Celebuzz blog on Tuesday, September 22 that she will wed her basketball player boyfriend Lamar Odom this weekend.
"Hi dolls. I'm thrilled to finally be able to tell you that the news is true... Lamar and I are getting married on Sunday!!!" wrote the celebrity-socialite. "I couldn't be happier and I'm so excited that I can finally share the news with all of you."
"Your well wishes have meant the world to me and I am truly so blessed to have such amazing fans, family and friends during this incredible time in my life," Khloe ended her post.
Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom, who is a Los Angeles Lakers star, have just been dating for about a month when reports of them planning a quickie wedding began to swirl earlier this week. They are said planning to stage their nuptials at the L.A.-area home of music manager Irving Azoff, who is a family friend of the Kardashians.
The planned wedding thus will be the first for both Khloe and Lamar. The sports star has had three children; Destiny, Lamar Jr., and Jayden, with longtime girlfriend Liza Morales. On June 29, 2006 his son Jayden died from SIDS while sleeping in his crib in New York.

Best wishes for the two of you… I hope you get a wonderful married life. Would Khloe Kardashian be seen at the sides of the basketball courts cheering for his husband in any of his future games? Wow, what a celebrity cheerleader! In an age in which we have nothing really important to take up our time, we might as well dwell on the Khloe Kardashian wedding. It really doesn't matter – the Khloe Kardashian wedding makes about as much difference as when Lady Di married "Big Ears" – Prince Charles – and it turns out that the next day, people still had to get up and go to work. It will be the same when Khloe weds Lamar Odom. The groom plays for the Lakers; the bride runs a clothing store. Of all the Kardashians, only Robert (their father) and Kourtney have gone to college, which means that yet another group of uneducated dolts are being given jobs of instant cash– why on earth should anyone care about the Khloe Kardashian wedding?
