The co-star of Woody Harrelson in 'Zombieland' gives one evasive answer when asked about the speculation of him to play Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg in 'The Social Network'.

AceShowbiz - Words are floating around suggesting Jesse Eisenberg will star as Mark Zuckerberg in "The Social Network", and the 25-year-old actor has addressed the matter. During an interview with MTV for "Zombieland", the star of "Adventureland" evasively said, "They are rumors; That is true," when asked if the rumors are true.

Speculation that Eisenberg could be taking the role of the Facebook founder was sparked by Carson Reeves of ScriptShadow in early September. About it, he wrote on his Facebook page, "Getting word that The Social Network cast is set. And, probably to no one's surprise, Jesse Eisenberg will play Mark Zuckerberg."

At the time, Reeves also mentioned about other possible cast members which include Justin Timberlake and Andrew Garfield. His post read, "A bit more of a surprise: Justin Timberlake will play Sean Parker. Wow. Finally, Andrew Garfield will play the part of Eduardo." No confirmation or denial of the casting rumors has come from either Timberlake or Garfield though.

"The Social Network" is a movie about the founders of the popular social networking site Facebook. Written by "Charlie Wilson's War" scribe Aaron Sorkin, it centers on the drama behind the Harvard dorm room creation of the popular social networking site by Mark Zuckerberg and his roommates. "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" helmer David Fincher is set to direct, and Kevin Spacey produces.
