Penelope Cruz has added another statuette to her awards collections. Having won the prestigious Academy Award and BAFTA among others, the 35-year-old was honored as Best Actress for her performance as Maria Elena in "Vicky Cristina Barcelona" at this year's ALMA Awards. The title was given during a gala ceremony held at the Royce Hall Auditorium at UCLA.
