Alicia Keys Confirms New Album to Arrive in December

Alicia Keys' new album will come out in December and is going to have a song called 'Try Sleeping With a Broken Heart' as the second single.

During an appearance on BET's "106 & Park" Wednesday, September 16, Alicia Keys opened up when she will put out her new album which is yet to be titled. "The album is due December," so the singer/songwriter said.

"The way that the songs progress [on the album] are gonna take you on a natural high. I just want you to feel a sense of freedom, I want you to feel out-of-the-box, feel inspired," Alicia continued. "You're definitely going to be taken on a trip, I know you're going to be shocked, you're going to hear things that you probably didn't think that I would sound like. It's a journey."

Furthermore, Alicia revealed what would be the follow up to the first single "Doesn't Mean Anything" which got online debut on September 14. "The first record is 'Doesn't Mean Anything', the second record is 'Try Sleeping With a Broken Heart', big up to Jeff Bhasker for that one. It's gonna take you on an ascension and I wanna take you higher," she stated.

Beside sitting down for an interview, Alicia Keys also took the stage, performing "Doesn't Mean Anything" on the TV show.
