Sex and Name of Gisele Bundchen's Upcoming Baby Revealed

A friend of Gisele says the supermodel has been telling friends she is pregnant with a baby boy and has chosen a name for him.

On the heels of Tom Brady's confirmation that he and wife Gisele Bundchen are expecting a baby, new report has just surfaced claiming the couple has found out the sex of their upcoming child. Greater than that, the supermodel is said to have picked a name for the not-yet-born infant, who is due to be delivered December later this year.

The National Enquirer which reports the story writes on its site that Gisele has been heard telling friends she is having a baby boy and planning to name him Gabriel. "One of Gisele's five sisters is named Gabriela, and she's always thought it was a beautiful name," a friend testifies.

Besides, "Gisele was brought up a Roman Catholic, and Gabriel is an archangel, a messenger from God, in the New Testament," adds the friend. "She's also friends with Brazilian singer-songwriter Gabriel Guerra. They met in Rio de Janeiro last year, and he wrote the song 'Tribute to Gisele' for her. She liked it so much she put it on her Web site."

As for Tom, the football player "is also having a large input on the baby's name, and we're joking that he's already set aside a locker for him with his team, the New England Patriots," the friend continues telling National Enquirer. "Tom and Gisele didn't care if they had a boy or a girl, just as long as everything was OK with the child. But now that Gisele knows it's a boy, she's so excited, she can't stop telling people."

The forthcoming baby will be Gisele Bundchen's first child and the second one for Tom Brady, who has had a 2-year-old son John Edward Thomas Moynahan with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan.
