John Mayer gives a tease on 'Who Says' music video through two pictures taken from its filming location.
John Mayer has started filming a music video for his new single "Who Says". The singer recently posted two photos showing the shooting process of the video on his Twitter. "Shooting the video for 'Who Says' ... It's going to get crazy on purpose," he wrote in companion to one of the snaps.
"Who Says" is confirmed to serve as the first single from John's new studio project "Battle Studies". While the track hasn't got any release date, the album is scheduled to make its way out in United States on November 17.
On what he plans in getting the record done in time, he previously wrote on his official website, "The idea is to run as many concurrent streams of production as we can. While Chad [Franscoviak] is wiring the mixing board, I'm set up in a room that will someday serve as a vocal booth, but right now I'm writing with a very modest songwriting rig ..."
"I'd even like to have album artwork concepts while we're still recording. Why wait? Why not blow the album cover up to 8'x8' and record with it hung up on the wall?"
