The first batch of celebrities lending their hands as presenters at this year's Primetime Emmy Awards has been announced. The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences opts to go big this year by tapping huge names such as Jon Hamm and Tina Fey. Both stars are nominated at the event with the latter having won Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series at Creative Arts Emmys.
The others on the list include those from "Gossip Girl", "True Blood" and "Grey's Anatomy". Blake Lively and her co-star Leighton Meester will read a category, either together or separately. There are also "Vampire Bill" Stephen Moyer, "Dr. Bailey" Chandra Wilson and "Jack Bauer" Kiefer Sutherland.
These people are confirmed coming to the stage along with Simon Baker, Dana Delany, Jimmy Fallon, Alyson Hannigan and Jason Segel. The second batch of presenters as well as the performers are expected to be announced within a week.
The 61st Annual Primetime Emmy Awards will be broadcast live by CBS from Los Angeles' Nokia Theater on Sunday, September 20 at 8/7c. Neil Patrick Harris is hosting.
