Zooey Deschanel is set to wed her fiance Ben Gibbard later this month, it has been reported. The pair, who has been engaged since December last year, is said to hold their wedding in Seattle. "Zooey is in Belfast with James Franco and Natalie Portman filming 'Your Highness' but will return at the end of September for her ceremony in Seattle," a source tells the New York Post.
Exact wedding date and venue for the reported nuptials are not disclosed though. Besides, neither Zooey nor Ben has issued a confirming statement regarding the wedding report.
Zooey Deschanel got engaged to Ben Gibbard, who is Death Cab for Cutie's frontman, before Christmas last year. At that time a source close to the pair said that both stars were "so thrilled".
Love life aside, Zooey is best recognized for her role as Anita Miller in 2000 movie "Almost Famous". Her latest film "Your Highness", which is slated for October 1, 2010 U.S. release, is a comedy that follows two spoiled and arrogant princesses in a medieval fantasy setting. When an evil wizard casts a spell on their father, they're forced to go on a quest to save their family and the kingdom.
