There is a chance that Miley Cyrus will be making an appearance in "Sex and the City 2". Obtaining the movie's filming schedule, Life & Style unraveled that the star of Disney's "Hannah Montana: The Movie" is set to appear in a scene for this "Sex and the City" sequel. She is expected to film her part for one day of shooting on October 16.
A source close to the set acknowledged that the teen sensation who stars in "The Last Song" has been approached for the cameo part, but she has yet to give confirmation about whether or not she will be involved. "They've asked her," the insider informed the publication. "But she hasn't confirmed. Right now, they're just holding the space for her."
On another casting news, The Hollywood Reporter claimed that Kim Cattrall's Samantha will be having a new love interest in the sequel. English actor Max Ryan, who portrays Pachinko in "Death Race", has been tapped to play Rikard, a European architect who crosses paths with Samantha.
The principal photography of "Sex and the City 2" has been kicked off in New York City. All of the four leading ladies, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kim Cattrall and Kristin Davis, have been spotted around the Big Apple to shoot their part. Michael Patrick King returns as writer, director and producer for the sequel that is set to open wide in theaters across the U.S. May 28, 2010.
