'The Twilight Saga's New Moon' will not be the only anticipated movie having to premiere its trailer during this year's MTV Video Music Awards.

AceShowbiz - 2009 MTV Video Music Awards will be the first place fans get the first look at Michael Jackson's film "This Is It". In anticipation of the awards' live broadcast on Sunday, September 13, MTV announced that the network will debut the trailer for the movie that is built around the King of Pop's rehearsal footage.

The unraveling of the trailer premiere came in days after Janet Jackson was confirmed as the opening act for the show in which she will perform a musical tribute for her late brother. "This Is It" won't be the only movie to have its trailer debuted at this year's VMAs since "The Twilight Saga's New Moon" will deliver its brand new extended trailer during the live broadcast as well.

"This Is It" offers a behind-the-scenes footage of Michael preparing for a series of the O2 London shows he was rehearsing when he died June 25. It will compile more than 100 hours of video footage concert promoter AEG Live shot during April, May and June 2009. Directed by Kenny Ortega, the documentary movie will be released in theaters across the world for a limited two-week engagement, starting on October 28.

The 26th Annual MTV Video Music Awards, in the meantime, will take place at Radio City Music Hall with British comedian and actor Russell Brand serving as host and will be aired from 9 P.M. ET. Beyonce Knowles, Taylor Swift, Muse, Green Day, Pink and Lady GaGa are among the performers confirmed for the show.

"New Moon" leading actors, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart, will be on hand to present the trailer of "Twilight" sequel, while their co-star Ashley Greene will serve as MTV's fashion correspondent. The awards show will also see the debut of the film's soundtrack from Death Cab for Cutie, "Meet Me in the Equinox".
