AceShowbiz - Alicia Keys reportedly will be sharing stage with rapper Jay-Z at the gala ceremony of this year's MTV Video Music Awards on September 13. They are rumored to deliver "Empire State of Mind", their duet track off "The Blueprint 3".
Furthermore, Alicia allegedly will reveal new single from her upcoming fourth studio installment after the event. The news of Alicia's VMAs appearance and new single were brought to surface by Alicia's longtime producing partners Kerry "Krucial" Brothers. Later on, Krucial took down the posts for unknown reason. As of press time, there haven't been any statements from Alicia's camp and MTV regarding the rumor.
The 26th Annual MTV Video Music Awards will take place at Radio City Music Hall and is going to be hosted by British comedian and actor Russell Brand. Its confirmed performers include Beyonce Knowles, Taylor Swift, Muse, Green Day, Pink and Lady GaGa. As for its house band, Wale and UCB are recruited for the duty.
