Talks are heating up that former rugby player Kris Smith is going to propose to his girlfriend Dannii Minogue. He is said to have bought her a "massive" diamond engagement ring and is just waiting for the right time to ask her to marry him.
"I would definitely pull out all the stops and get down on one knee," Kris says in a statement. "I'm romantic, but not that cheesy," he adds when stressing that he won't fly his leading lady to famous proposal locations, like Paris. No word if Dannii is aware of Kris' engagement plan though. Her camp also hasn't addressed the report just yet.
Dannii Minogue first met Kris Smith in Ibiza, Spain, last year. The songstress was recently cited as stating, "I know he's The One. That's all I can say. I adore my boyfriend. I guess at my age I have to start thinking about babies but to be honest, I'm just so enjoying being so wildly in love and being so happy."
