AceShowbiz - Several promo pics from the upcoming episode of "True Blood" have been released over the weekend. Titled "Beyond Here Lies Nothin' ", the September 13 episode will serve as the conclusion of the second season before the show comes back in summer 2010 with the third one.
The photos mostly capture Maryann in her bridal gown, luring Sookie and Jason to aid her need. Bon Temps reaches a fever pitch as Maryann prepares for her ultimate bestial sacrifice, conscripting Sookie to be Maid of Honor at the bloody nuptials. There are also pictures of Sookie dancing with Bill, and Hoyt struggling with Maxine's stream of insults.
Two of the photos bring a look at Charlaine Harris' cameo which is a scene with Sam Trammell and another drinking Tru Blood at Merlotte's. Harris is the author of the books the series is based upon. Creator Alan Ball announced her participation in a press conference dated May 3 without giving a hint on her storyline.
Also in the episode, Sophie-Anne warns Eric to keep the lid on Bill's inquisitiveness and Jason leads Andy into the heroic abyss. Deliberating on what may be his final move to save Sookie and the town, Sam places his trust, and his life, in a most unlikely ally.
