Justin Timberlake Could Be Among the Cast of 'The Social Network'

Beside the pop musician, actors Jesse Eisenberg and Andrew Garfield are also claimed to have been set to join the movie which picks up the drama behind the making of Facebook.

Words on the street are, is one of the actors set to star in the upcoming Facebook movie, "". Carson Reeves of ScriptShadow has brought up the possibility through his Facebook page, writing that the Grammy-winning singer will take the role of Sean Parker.

On a post dated Wednesday, September 2, Reeves didn't only point out on Timberlake's casting rumor, but also on the potential cast for two other major characters. "Getting word that The Social Network cast is set," so his post opened. "And, probably to no one's surprise, will play Mark Zuckerberg. A bit more of a surprise: Justin Timberlake will play Sean Parker. Wow. Finally, Andrew Garfield will play the part of Eduardo."

Providing support to this rumor, The Playlist insisted that those three actors are indeed in consideration. "A good inside source who's been poking us on this Facebook project lately says that yes," it claimed, "all those actors are under consideration and were all present for a table read with [David] Fincher and casting person Laray Mayfield..."

Despite the statement, The Playlist continued to explain that at the moment "none are set in stone". It further mentioned that one of the actors considered "wasn't exactly loved" by the director of "".

"The Social Network" is a movie about the founders of the popular social networking site Facebook. Written by "" scribe Aaron Sorkin, it centers on the drama behind the Harvard dorm room creation of the popular social networking site by Mark Zuckerberg and his roommates.
