Take a look at the horror Sarah Carter once again encounters when she is forced back to the subterranean depths to help locate her missing friends.
"The Descent: Part 2", a sequel to the critically acclaimed 2005 horror film "The Descent", has got its international teaser trailer debuted via IGN. Though the sneak peek doesn't help much in exposing its plot, it does reel out the horror faced by Sarah Carter and the search party when they discover they are not alone in the pitch black cave.
Picking up where the first movie left off, this sequel is to begin with Sarah Carter emerging alone from the cave system where she and her five friends experience caving expedition gone wrong. Unable to explain to authorities what happened or why she's covered in blood, the distraught, confused, and half-wild with fear girl is forced back to the subterranean depths to help locate her missing friends.
Starring Shauna Macdonald as Sarah, "The Descent: Part 2" has first time director Jon Harris replacing original director Neil Marshall. Natalie Mendoza and Gavan O'Herlihy are among the cast as well. The script is provided by newcomer James McCarthy and "Eden Lake" scribe/director James Watkins. This horror thriller will let out its scare in the U.K. December 4, while no U.S. release date has been set yet.
