Yahoo! Movies has got a hold of the first teaser trailer of Christopher Nolan's "Inception". Debuted over the weekend attached to "Inglourious Basterds", the sneak peek doesn't reveal any sort of a plot. However, it does share glimpses of some male characters, including the one portrayed by Leonardo DiCaprio, and gives away an evocative tagline "Your mind is the scene of the crime".
This sci-fi action still undergoes its principal photography. Radar Online reported that it is currently being shot in Morocco where DiCaprio gets involved in a fight scene. The site further pointed out that for this movie, the star of "Revolutionary Road" is required to lose more weight. "Leo needs to shed at least 30lbs," so claimed a source from the set.
As for the reason why, the source revealed, "He's gained weight recently and looks almost a bit flabby, which isn't good, especially as the camera adds pounds. There's an action scene coming up at the end of the year in which he needs to appear emaciated, so the pressure is on."
"Leo isn't the kind of guy who can just lose a radical amount of weight though - he gets very nervous about it. He's following a strict diet and is embarking on a rigorous workout regime," the insider added. "He hopes to lose the weight through the old fashioned way of cutting back on calories and upping his exercise. Leo's a pretty determined kind of guy, when he sets his mind to things he always achieves them. Though this is going to be hard for him, you can guarantee he'll succeed."
"Inception" is based on an original script written by Christopher Nolan, the director of "The Dark Knight". It has been described as a "contemporary sci-fi actioner set within the architecture of the mind." In addition to the writing and directing part, Nolan carries out the role of co-producer along with Emma Thomas.
Beside DiCaprio, this movie will also see Ellen Page, Marion Cotillard, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Tom Hardy, Ken Watanabe, Dileep Rao, Cillian Murphy and Tom Berenger in the cast ensemble. Some of the characters' names have been revealed earlier. This movie is expected to hit U.S. theaters July 16, 2010.
