'Bachelorette' Jillian Harris Cried Over Reports of Fiance's Affair

What really happened after the final rose of "The Bachelorette" was indeed not quite pleasant for Jillian Harris. The 29-year-old admitted that although she believed it was untrue, she still cried over the reports that her pick Ed Swiderski had an affair with two women just days after they got engaged on national TV.

"I'll admit, I was tearing up with my dad this morning," Harris told The Province. "I would never do anything mean-spirited in my life. I'll never say a mean thing about one of those girls even though I'm very confused why they would do something like this. ...I just don't really get it, but that's part of what I signed up for and I just need to hold on tight and get through it."

The mentioned "girls" here would be Lindsey Johnson and Bethany Steffen who made an exclusive revelation to Us Weekly that Ed tried to bed one of them and actually slept with the other. "It's actually very sad for me and for Ed and I'm sure for the two girls involved, who I'm sure are very regretful for saying these things that aren't true," Jillian explained, adding that the girls look "a little bit foolish" for spilling something not true.

Despite the reports, Jillian revealed that her relationship with Ed is getting stronger and that she will still move in with him in Chicago. "I am not affected by this at all," she testified. "We really plan on trying to get out of the limelight and trying to get on with our lives. It's been a hard couple of days but ... it only made us stronger and it's only made us communicate with each other more."
