Trailer for Clive Owen-Starring 'The Boys Are Back'
Movie

Suddenly becoming a single parent following his wife's tragic death, Joe Warr learns that growing up can be the adventure of a lifetime.

AceShowbiz - How to raise two boys when you're hit with a tragic death of loved one? Joe Warr believes that to bring joy back into the family's life, you only have to say yes. The brand new trailer of "The Boys Are Back" takes a look at Joe's life before his wife's tragic death and how he deals with raising two boys without her in his life.

Witty, wisecracking and action-oriented, Joe is a sportswriter who finds himself in a sudden, stultifying state of single parenthood after his wife suddenly passes away. Dealing with his own turbulent emotions, he tries to raise up his curious six year-old when his rebellious teen son from previous marriage joins the broken family. United by unspoken love, conflicted by fierce feelings and in search of a road forward, each of them now has to find their way to grow up.

"The Boys Are Back" is based on Simon Carr's book "The Boys Are Back in Town". It picks up a deeply moving, wryly confessional tale of fatherhood, that intimately evokes both the fragility and wonders of family life. The drama movie is directed by Academy Award-nominee Scott Hicks using a screenplay by Allan Cubitt.

Shot on location in the stunning countryside of South Australia, it stars "Duplicity" lead actor, Clive Owen, as Joe Warr. He is supported by Laura Fraser, George MacKay and Emma Booth. Produced by Greg Brenman and Tim White, the movie will get its limited release in U.S. theaters September 25.
