20th Century Fox has debuted the first trailer for "The Blind Side". The promotional video focuses on two of its major characters, Sandra Bullock's Leigh Anne Touhy and Quinton Aaron's Michael Oher, and how the loving embrace of the Touhy's family turns around the life of the homeless and under-educated teenager.
Based on Michael Lewis' 2006 book "The Blind Side: Evolution of a Game", the upcoming drama depicts the remarkable true story of Michael Oher, an offensive lineman for the Baltimore Ravens NFL football team. Oher is a poor, oversized and under-educated teenager when he meets and is adopted by the Touhys. While the well-to-do white family helps him fulfill his potential, his presence in turn leads the family to some insightful self-discoveries of their own.
"The Blind Side" is written and directed by John Lee Hancock. Partially filmed at The Westminster Schools in Atlanta, Georgia, it stars Kathy Bates, Tim McGraw and Ray McKinnon in addition to Sandra Bullock and Quinton Aaron. Several current and former NCAA coaches, including Nick Saban, Lou Holtz and Tommy Tuberville, also make special appearances in this movie which is set to be released in the U.S. on November 20.

I loved this book, and can't wait to see it on the silver screen! It's about time we had another family friendly movie. I'll be watching Michael with the Ravens this season too.
