A brand new poster and trailer for "Ninja Assassin" have been debuted by MTV. Both of the one-sheet and the promo video tease on how bloody the movie will be. Still, the trailer helps to unravel the background story of how Raizo is raised to become one of the deadliest trained assassins in the world and how he is betrayed by the Ozunu Clan.
Taken from the streets as a child, Raizo is raised to be a trained killer by the Ozunu Clan, a secret society whose very existence is considered a myth. But when his friend is mercilessly executed by the clan, he flees into hiding, waiting for the perfect time to launch a deadly revenge. Elsewhere, Europol agent Mika Coretti investigates money linked to political murders, which leads her to the clan. Defying her superior's order, she digs into top secret agency files to learn the truth behind the murders.
When the clan learns about the investigation, they make Mika their latest target and send a team of killers to silence her. However, Raizo comes out from his hiding and saves Mika. Now, entangled in a deadly game of cat and mouse through the streets of Europe, Raizo and Mika must trust one another if they hope to survive and bring down the clan.
Directed by James McTeigue, "Ninja Assassin" stars Korean pop artist Rain as Raizo and "Pirates of the Caribbean" actress Naomie Harris as Mika Coretti. The two are supported by a cast ensemble that consist of Ben Miles, Sho Kosugi and Rick Yune. Warner Bros. has set to release this action-packed movie in U.S. theaters November 25.
