Queen Latifah has Busta Rhymes, Shawn Stockman, Marsha Ambrosius, Mary J. Blige and Jadakiss as her collaborators in new album 'Persona'.
Tracklisting for Queen Latifah's new album "Persona" has come out, featuring twelve songs and three bonus tracks. Among other new materials in the list are "The Light", "Fast Car", "Cue the Rain", "Long Ass Week" and "The World".
Furthermore, at least five music's hot talents appear as Latifah's collaborators. Dre from production duo Cool & Dre will team up with her in a song called "My Couch". He will once again lend his vocal in another track titled "Hard to Love Ya" alongside Busta Rhymes and Boyz II Men's Shawn Stockman.
Other featured guests in "Persona" are Marsha Ambrosius, Mary J. Blige and Jadakiss. Ambrosius will join forces with Latifah in a song titled "Take Me Away (With You)", while Blige and Jadakiss will collaborate with the August Boatwright of "The Secret Life of Bees" in another track called "People".
"Persona" is expected to arrive in U.S. market on August 25. Revealing what the songs' lyrics in the album are dealing with, Latifah told Rolling Stone, "A lot of love on there. People, dealing with people, how people do all kinds of things."
