Shakira says her new album 'She Wolf' will be dance- and club-oriented with the inclusion of Colombian, Indian, Middle Eastern and African musical styles.

AceShowbiz - Shakira recently had an interview with MTV, and opened up to the publication what to expect from her upcoming new album "She Wolf". She said, "It's a very electronic album. Dance-oriented. Club-oriented. I want people to have fun with it. Forget about the troubles. Forget about the crisis. Forget everything for a minute - at least while they listen to the music."

In the upcoming album which is due for October release, Shakira works with Pharrell Williams and Wyclef Jean. She incorporates elements of Colombian, Indian, Middle Eastern and African musical styles in this studio project.

Commenting on her collaboration with Pharrell, Shakira said, "He comes up with ideas, and he executes them immediately. It's really cool, because I'm a little bit slower, and he's the man with the big strokes, and he really comes with great ideas. It was a great synergy."

In advance of the album, Shakira gave its title track, "She Wolf", for free on ABC Music Lounge starting from July 12 at 7 P.M. ET / 4 P.M. PT. to July 13 at midnight E.T. / 9 P.M. PT. She will also premiere the song's music video later this month.
